Dear Author/Artist,
First of all, thank you for writing/making art me, I know whatever you do, it’ll be awesome. I’ll ramble on about what I like and dislike, but don’t feel pressured to write/make anything, if none of my prompts do anything for you, then write/make what you like, but please try to watch out for my squicks and dislikes.
My general likes:
- darker and edgier than the canon.
- angst, hurt/comfort, bittersweet or unhappy endings, tragedy. I like to cry. Major character death, suicide and deathfic are more than okay with me.
- casefic - most of my fandoms have Monster/Bad Guy of the Week episodes and I like them. (But if plotty fic is not your thing, don't worry.)
- what-if AUs (example: role reversal, or any little thing happening different and changing a whole ot of thing), multiple universes (I like when a character has the chance to see how their life could have turned out, or get the chance to meet their mirrorselves), time travel, dystopian/post-apocalyptic AUs (I like sad things and pushing my favorite characters to their limits.)
- fusions with these fandom, so if you're into fusions, you can use the setting of these: Supernatural (while I gave up on the show last season, I like the world-building and any supernatural creature hunting type of thing), Welcome to Night Vale (the crazy-fun-horror is what I like here), Alias (this was my favorite show and I love spies, spy agencies, double agents, the hunt for mystical artifacts, etc.), Homestuck (I started to read this only now, so I'm at Act 5 Act 1, but I like the crazy game type of setting.)
My general dislikes:
- too fluffy fic, curtain fic, domestic fic, kidfic, de-age: If there’s a canon childbirth, then writing about the kid growing up is fine – example: Emma and Henry – what I don’t like is when a shippy fic focuses on raising the new OC child together.
- all human AUs (barista, band, high school AUs)
- established relationship
- watersport, scat, guro, necrophilia (I know I nominated undead character(s) in WoW but I'm not interested in the sexual aspect of a dead (or a mostly dead) body.)
NOTE: You can see I like dark things, I know that you, my writer, might not like these things, so I just want to make it clear, you can write whatever you’re comfortable with. If your tone is like the canon, I’ll like the fic, even if it’s happy. I’m not against silly, happy, funny, slice-of-life fics, I just read more dark stories. I'm just not a fan of teeth-rotting fluff, but that doesn't mean you have to write an all doom and gloom fic. :)
Also, any rating is fine, I'm okay with G rated emotional things or explicit sex scenes. I prefer third person point of view in fanfic (but I also read second person POV), but I only like first person POV in original fiction (so the Original Work and World of Warcraft requests are fine in first person POV) and any tense is okay. (This is also a just in case note and totally optional. :))
My trigger: miscarriage
Kinks: This is just for safety, if you would like to write explicit sex scenes. I’m absolutely okay with vanilla sex or no sex in shippy fics; I’m just listing these, because I had wondering authors in past exchanges what I like.
Kink list:bites, weapon kink (guns and knives), BDSM, collars, consent play, dirty talk (mildly), double penetration, gags, non-con, dub-con.
For Art: I'm not gonna be much help I'd like anything, really. Maybe one of my prompts can still be used for some inspiration? I adore fanart, btw, it's not that I'd like fanfic more, I just can't really prompt any visual thing. Any rating is fine, though I'd prefer something I could use as wallpaper. But if you happen to have a porny idea, that's also okay with me.
Peter Pan (Wendy Darling/Tiger Lily, Tinker Bell/Wendy Darling)
This is one of my all time favorite books, and what I love in this canon is the underlying dark themes, and I'm sucker for Peter Pan retellings. I love that every one of them picks some thing out and rethinks the whole book from that perspective (Karen Wallace's Wendy shows Wendy as a terrorized child who's mentally unstable and that's why she builds the Peter Pan world, Laurie Fox's The Lost Girls plays with the Peter Pan syndrome and abusive relationships and charismatic and destructive guys), so for one, I'd really like some modern retelling, it can be magical realism, or 'the stories as a coping mechanism' trope.
If you want to stick with the original canon, I'd like to see some more interaction between Tiger Lily and Wendy while on Neverland, or maybe after Wendy got home, Tiger Lily follows her.
For Wendy/Tinker Bell I can only see it as a frenemy or enemy ship, because Tinker Bell is just so jealous, so anything dark and twisted is fine with me. Or the girls bonding over their unrequited feelings for Peter.
And I'm not against a threesome here.
Arrow (Helena Bertinelli/Felicity Smoak, Nyssa al Ghul/Felicity Smoak, Sara Lance/Felicity Smoak, Laurel Lance/Sara Lance):
Felicity is one of my favorite characters and I like how she's not a though, badass woman, but she stands her own ground just the same, but in her own way and with what she's good at. Also, I like character dynamics where one half of the ship is a geeky, tech person and the other is the stoic warrior type, I like to see how they balance each other out, so I'd really like to see Felicity helping one of the others her humanity and a promise of a kind of normal life.
With Sara I'd like to see some training or working together - the undercover as a couple is my favorite trope.
With Helena or Nyssa I'm more than okay with something more dark and twisted - even a Stockholm kind of thing, but Felicity being their moral compass is also welcome.
Laurel Lance/Sara Lance: Yep, I ship incest, and I was surprised it even reached this show, I just love complicated relationships, and the Lance sisters have that. I liked when Sara was obsessively watching over Laurel, while being the Canary, so anything with the secret identity would be welcome. I'd love to see how they fall for each other (while obviously on Sara's side it would be something fucked up), while Laurel doesn't know who the Canary is. Or if you want an AU where they had a thing before canon is also fine. (In this case I'm not opposed to established relationship.)
Sleepy Hollow (Jenny/Abbie):
I have no shame, I just love Abbie and Jenny's complicated relationship. I think what I find fascinating (and why I ship them) is that they have no one beside the other, and they stick together no matter what - while trying to work out their emotional baggage (Abbie leaving Jenny, Jenny wanting to kill Abbie while possessed). I'd like to read something about how they save Abbie from Purgatory or about Abbie struggling with her feelings in Purgatory.
Once Upon a Time (Regina/Zelena, Dorothy Gale/Zelena, Wendy/Tinker Bell, Regina/Tinker Bell, Regina/Emma):
Regina/Zelena: Zelena's obsession with everything Regina is my favorite thing about this ship, it's unhealthy for sure, so I could picture something dark and twisted, Zelena kidnapping Regina and brainwashing her to like her, because Zelena desperately seeks attention and love. Or I'd love to see some AU where Zelena succeeded with her plan, but instead of wiping Regina out of existence, everyone just forgets about her and seems like nothing she did happened and Zelena is the only one remembering Regina.
Wendy/Tinker Bell: I was a bit disappointed where the show went with Wendy (as in nowhere) and I'd be interested in seeing them and their relationship in Neverland, how they met, etc.
Dorothy/Zelena: (With aged-up Dorothy if possible, but I don't mind if not.) I just loved to see Dorothy in OUAT and (same with Wendy, they just threw her character in and nothing happened), and I loved that Zelena was again jealous (it's her main motivation - and I so loved that in dark/twisted ships) and the prophecy is just an extra kick. I'd like to see what would Zelena do to avoid the fulfillment of the prophecy, maybe with some mind-games, bringing Dorothy to her side. And bonus point if somehow the original book Wicked Witch/Dorothy slave thing is mentioned. :D
Regina/Tinker Bell: I just loved every interaction between these two, I'd like to see that Tinker Bell tries to convince Regina that Robin Hood is really her second chance - even after the events of the finale - but she slowly realizes that maybe there is more to true love than magic and predestination - or that simple love is also enough. (Whatever interpretation floats your boat.)
Regina/Emma: I'd really like to something with the timetravel plotline. When Regina caught Emma, my shipper heart just went crazy, and I'm a bit sad they didn't interact more, so anything dealing with that would be awesome. Maybe Regina is the only hope for them to get back to their time? I'd like to see Regina being evil and Emma going against her, meanwhile trying to see the good in her, knowing Regina is capable of love and change.
Or an AU where Zelena's plan worked, but instead of Regina never being born, she's only written out of the timeline, while Regina still lingers like some kind of ghost, and haunting Emma's dream.
(These are just two prompts, really, I'd like any fic with them, but I really like their relationship being a bit fucked-up and complicated.)
Original Work (Angel/Demon, Evil Queen/Princess Huntress/Demon Superhero/Supervillain Vampire/Hunter Wicked Witch/Princess):
I like enemy ships, I think that's clear from the pairings, so anything with hate-love kind of feelings would be welcome. Enemies forced to work together is one of my favorite tropes, so I'd be glad if that could be included. Mind games, fucked-up relationships, obsession, Stockholm syndrome is also okay.
Threesomes, moresomes, bi, pan and trans, genderqueer characters are awesome.
World of Warcraft (Blood Elf/Blood Elf, Blood Elf/Night Elf, Forsaken/Blood Elf, Tauren/Blood Elf, Forsaken/Tauren):
I'm just a casual gamer, so I'm not aware of all the lore, but I'm catching up, reading the books etc. (Also I'm so new to this, I only have a level 87 character, and other alts I used to try out different classes so...)
But anyway everything about this world fascinates me, the mishmash of steampunk, magic and as you can see, I'm Horde all the way. I would love anything with general adventurer hijinks, spotlighting the tension between factions and races, I'm sucker for team dynamics and team bonding and chosen family as tropes, so any story where two or more character has to work together on a quest and they slowly realize the other's worth is more than welcome. You can absolutely mix these races into a threesome or moresome. (Also I'd be interested in reading about Draeneis and Worgens, too.)
You can go nuts with your OCs, but if you'd like, you can include my characters. I'm not on a RP server, so they don't have backstories, but I love the Jerk with a Heart of Gold trope, especially for my blood elf.
