Spoilers under the cut:

Once Upon a Time – 2x12 – In The Name of the Brother

Yet another Whale-centric episode and again with the family undertones. In short: I loved it, I’m a sucker for characters with daddy issues. (And no, it’s not the fact that he’s played by David Anders.) And obviously, the Frankenwolf ship stole my heart, I haven’t even thought about that Whale could be someone who needs a stable relationship, but now, seeing his past, oh, come on, someone hug him already! I’m very interested in this ship and I hope the writers wouldn’t drop it.

Regina: poor Regina, I should have gotten used to the fact that they always hurt her, I know this is the show’s premise: she did a bad thing, she always chooses the wrong path, so she suffers. But come on, Cora was a heartless b*tch, disguising herself as Henry and then with the whole manipulative speech. When she talked to Rumple, I almost fell for her act, and almost believed she just wants her daughter back, but then she persuaded Regina into yet another wrong decision. *is sad*

Rumpbelle: It’s the only canon pairing (in general, not just in this show) I like, so I’m devastated to see it sinking. I know obstacles are parts of a romantic storyline, but the writers handled it so well, it tore into my heart. I loved the desperate true love’s kiss scene and the breaking of the cup, something so sentimental and essential is lost now and well, I hope they will have their happy ending.

I liked the morality question about whether they should save this ordinary human or not, though I think this ending that omg, he saw everything was a little bit odd. I know Emma’s instincts aren’t fool proof, but I don’t know, it was weird.

Hook: Even he wasn’t on screen much, he had the best lines, and the Captain Swan shipper in me was very happy. I hope we’ll see them more together, and not just three or four episodes later.

Episode rating: ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!

Arrow – 1x11 – Trust But Verify

Usually, I can rant forever about this show, but now it wasn’t like that. I mean, I liked it, but it won’t be one of my favorite episodes, though almost every episode till now was. So, we have Tommy, and I liked that we learned about his mother – I am still curious what had happened – and that Tommy is a broken character. (I love angst, if you couldn’t guess.) And I don’t know, the writers sold me the Tommy/Laurel storyline, I DON’T CARE ABOUT Oliver/Laurel, I just can’t, especially after this. Leave Tommy some happiness. It was a very well done scene, where we and Tommy are angry at his father – he wants to shut down the free clinic which was his mother’s – and he says his father is such a monster, we know he wants to do something horrible to this city, and then, bam, we saw him with his family’s picture. Talk about a wham scene.

Diggle: I always liked his character, and not just because the running gag, but really he was such a balance to emotionless!Oliver, and now he was the one who was wrong. And it was so good to see how Oliver comforted him.

The flashback: OMG, REALLY? THAT WAS SUCH A TWIST! I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING.

Thea: I love Thea, and I love that she has her own storyline. It broke my heart that she missed her father so much, and even if she’s wrong about her mother’s cheating, she is really a liar. And yeah, Thea has the right to be angry, I just such a shame she’s so self-destructive, I hope Oliver will help her. (Yeah, and it feed so much to my headcanon Queencest.)

Episode rating: I liked it.

Supernatural – 8x11 – LARP and the Real Girl

Yeah, a breather episode. And Felicia Day. Obviously, because I’m into MMORPGs, I loved the LARP thing, but it had so much potential, and I don’t feel the writers went all the way with it. I mean, the French Mistake episode was epic, they did it brilliantly, but this… It had one or two funny lines, but not much anything else. (And we had a fifty shades joke, yay…) And I want Garth on the scene, not just mentions of him, damn it.

Episode rating: It was okay.

The Vampire Diaries – 4x11 – Catch Me If You Can

This is what I want from TVD. Cheesy, yet horror-y vampire scenes, Klaus being a badass, Stefan and Damon with lots of issues, Elena being caught in the middle. (And though it was mostly about their romance, but I felt like something more was there. That no matter what Stefan does, he falls apart again and again, and Damon who has his own problems can’t really help him always, because he has his own life, but come on, he can’t get the chance to be happy, there is always something going wrong.) So apart from the Salvatore brothers who I tolerate at best, there was the Gilbert family love. AND THAT WAS AWESOME. Give me Jeremy-Elena interaction any day over the Salvatores.

Then there was the Bonnie storyline, I don’t like her, but this drug addiction-magic parallel maybe will work for her. Shane is… well Shane, not much of a villain, and a character, but I want to see Silas even more. (I kinda feel Shane is in love with Silas, really, I can’t help it, I ship them. :D)

The Originals: win all the award. I don’t know what this show will be without them, but I adored Rebekah, who was trying so hard not to be Klaus, and yet she is. Kol, who isn’t a sociopath, just practical and wants a family (how epic was Nathaniel Buzolic’s acting!), and even Klaus. And yay for the Klaus/Elena scenes, I kept thinking that at the end, Elena would go with him and Jeremy that would have been sensible.

Though I don’t think they will kill off Kol (that would be a stupid move on the writers part) I am now a little bit interested in the show.

Episode rating: ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!

Overall Week Rating: 5/4
