letter: Ship Swap 2015
Dear Author/Artist,
First of all, thank you for writing fic/making art for me, I know whatever you do it’ll be awesome. I’ll ramble on about what I like and dislike, but don’t feel pressured to write/make anything, if none of my prompts do anything for you, then write/make what you like, but please try to watch out for my squicks. If you have an idea you've been wanting to write for a long time, then go for it, write your dream fic! :) I chose ships I adore to bits, so don't worry about what we're matched on, I'm going to be excited and happy either way. :) The length I'm writing about my ships has nothing to do with how much I love them. And speaking of length, this letter might be long and a bit detailed, but don't worry about that either, nothing here is set into stone, they're just a general idea of what I like, and I toss out any info I might find helpful in a letter, but don't think I'm picky or hard to please. :)
NOTE: I like dark things, and I know that you might not like these things, so I just want to make it clear, you can write whatever you’re comfortable with. If your tone is like the canon, I’ll like the fic, even if it’s happy. I’m not against silly, happy, funny, slice-of-life fics, I'm just not a fan of teeth-rotting fluff, but that doesn't mean you have to write an all doom and gloom fic. :)
My general likes:
- darker and edgier than the canon.
- angst, hurt/comfort, bittersweet or unhappy endings, tragedy. I like to cry. Major character death, suicide and deathfic are more than okay with me. Torture, rape, anything goes. (These are not mandatory, but if you feel up to writing some really dark and twisted story, chances are I'm gonna eat that up with a spoon.)
- casefic - most of my fandoms have Monster/Bad Guy of the Week episodes and I like them. (But if plotty fic is not your thing, don't worry.)
- what-if AUs and a few other AUs (example: role reversal, or any little thing happening differently and changing a whole lot of thing), multiple universes (I like when a character has the chance to see how their lives could have turned out, or get the chance to meet their mirrorselves), time travel, Groundhog day AU/time loop, dystopian/post-apocalyptic AUs.
- fusions with these fandom, so if you're into fusions, you can use the setting of these: Supernatural (while I gave up on the show last season, I like the world-building and any supernatural creature hunting type of thing), Welcome to Night Vale (the crazy-fun-horror is what I like here), Alias (this was my favorite show and I love spies, spy agencies, double agents, the hunt for mystical artifacts, etc.), Homestuck (I like the crazy game type of setting.) But again, it's just an option, if you happened to like these fandoms and writing fusions.
- also if you like to write crossovers, then by all means, cross over any of my requested fandoms.
My general dislikes:
- too fluffy fic, curtain fic, domestic fic
- kidfic, de-age
- all human and mundane AUs (barista, band, high school AUs), A/B/O
- established relationship - I like to see how my ships get together, so flashback, non-linear writing or reminiscing about the past is totally okay, but if there is absolutely no note about how they got together I get a bit frustrated. (Well, obviously, in PWP you don't have to make a big fuss about this. :))
Also, any rating is fine, I'm okay with G rated emotional things or explicit sex scenes, I love plotty fic, character studies and PWP just the same. I'm okay with detailed scenes of blood, horror and violence (for action scenes or whatnot), I prefer third person point of view in fanfic (but I also read second person POV) and any tense is okay. (This is also a just in case note and totally optional. :))
My trigger: miscarriage
Kinks: This is just for safety if you would like to write explicit sex scenes. I’m absolutely okay with vanilla sex or no sex in shippy fics; I’m just listing these, because I had wondering authors in past exchanges what I like.
Kink list:bites, weapon kink (guns and knives), BDSM, collars, consent play, dirty talk (mildly), double penetration, gags, non-con, dub-con.
For Art: I adore fanart! Any rating is fine, though I'd prefer something I could use as a wallpaper. But if you happen to have a porny/hot idea, that's also okay with me. Draw what you like, but here are some general prompts that fits every ship:
- action scene (monster killing, catching bad guys together)
- hand holding
- cute fluffy things (yeah, art is the exception about my no-fluff rule)
- feeding each other (romantic picnic?)
- 'we need to share a bed and awkward cuddling ensues'
- A pins B to a wall (this perfectly fits Jim/Oswald and Constantine/Manny)
- longing gazes
- wound treating, lingering touches
- if there's a tie involved: A grabbing B by the tie and pulling B to them
AGENT CARTER
- Angie/Peggy: I love the idea of Angie being Peggy's anchor to normal life, so here I'm okay with a moderately fluffy, feel-good fic. For example: Angie knowing when Peggy has a bad day and cheering her up. On the other hand, I'd like to see a villain kidnapping Angie and Peggy has to save her, whether Angie learns the truth about Peggy's work of line is utterly up to you.
- Jarvis/Peggy: I absolutely adore their dynamic, Jarvis's polite gentlemanly behavior and how he is the non-combatant one of the pair, so I'd like to see anything where Jarvis tries to convince Peggy he can be useful (saving her or baking for her, treating her wounds and giving her pep talks, anything.) I don't like infidelity (it's one of my strong dislikes), somehow I still ship them, and though I wouldn't want to see a threesome here, and yeah, I like angst, but I'd prefer if they wouldn't get together while Jarvis is with Anna. (This ship makes me confused.)
- Daniel/Peggy: Probably Daniel is the only one at work who respects Peggy, but I'd like to see something where Daniel is the one who gets somewhere with the investigation about their mysterious woman. Somehow it's always Daniel who catches Peggy doing everything shady and not thinking about it twice, and I'd like to see him putting the pieces together, and then conflicting feelings ensue.
Optional moresomes: I know Jack wasn't nominated in any ship (that's kinda my fault), but if you are here and maybe have an idea for a Jack/Peggy or Daniel/Jack/Peggy fic or even a Daniel/Jack/Peggy/Jarvis fic, I would be over the moon. :) I love their scenes together, everyone has chemistry with everyone, I'd be totally up for banter between the guys, and everyone coming together like a family of choice. And yep, I think even Jack is a good guy under that mask of arrogance, so a fic where they learn to trust one another and working together would be perfect.
THE LIBRARIANS
This show... oh my! I just love, love found families and team shenanigans, and as it happens I ship everyone with everyone. I love all of the characters and how they complement each other, how they bring out the best in each other and how they help one another. So I can't really prompt for anything specific for each ship, but I'd love anything with wacky adventures, love spells, truth spells, curses, or even more AUs to explore.
- Cassandra/Ezekiel: He keeps stealing things for her when she feels low.
- Eve/Cassandra: Something with the Prince Charming/Cinderella storyline maybe? Eve surely felt something then about Cassandra, how does she deal with it? Or anything from the Librarian!Cassandra AU
- Jake/Eve: Tales from the Librarian!Jake AU or if you are in a sad mood how seeing Eve affected AU!Jake, I'm all for one-sided angst here or maybe Eve spends a little more time in this AU. Or when she gets back to her own universe how does it affect her? And I wouldn't say no to a story with their fairy tale counterparts.
- Cassandra/Ezekiel/Jake: Post season finale, something with them on the road, always intending to work alone the next case, but never really happening, and slowly they realize they feelings for each other.
- Cassandra/Flynn: I don't know what made me ship them - Flynn not being there much -, but him willing to die just so Cassandra can be healed certainly touched my shippy feelings. Something mentor-student relationship turning into more would be welcome here. It's up to you if Flynn and Eve broke up or they turned it into a threesome.
- Cassandra/Lamia: Bring me all the Librarian-Cassandra!AU where Lamia is Cassandra's guardian, how did their relationship develop? In the normal universe, I can see them as frenemies - surely Lamia found evil!Cassandra interesting. It can be fun, lighthearted, Lamia turning to the good side, or even some dark!Cassandra.

SLEEPY HOLLOW
General prompts: Anything with curses, love spells, truth spells, monsters feeding on fears, doubts and lust which reveals their feelings. Something that makes it possible for them to see into each other thoughts, walk into each other dreams.
- Abbie/Jenny: I'm all for codependent, fucked-up siblings, and though they are now in a team, they still had only each other in a very young age, so I can see them this way.
- Abbie/Ichabod/Nick: I am absolutely loving their dynamic, they make a perfect team, and I'm sucker for found family teams (with romantic feelings). Any casefic with shippy feelings is welcome, bonus points for pretending to be in a relationship for some case.
- Ichabod/Nick: I know Nick knows some of Ichabod's history, but I'd like to see when he learns all about his backstory. Or they get closer to each other but are in complete denial, and slowly they figure out their feelings.
Note on Katrina: I'm not one for infidelity, so Katrina can ride into the sunset with Abraham, or just breaks it off with Ichabod, but please, no cheating.

CONSTANTINE
- John/Manny: Some hurt/comfort would be nice, John sustaining an injury and Manny helping him - with nothing angelic at first, just being at his side. Slowly - after a lot of cases? - John starts to trust Manny - as far as he trusts anyone - and asks for his help or even Manny rebelling for John. Or something about how Manny was assigned to John and what he did to prevent John's attempts of suicide, how his life was as John's guardian angel - of course with one sided pining.
GOTHAM
- Jim/Oswald: Wow, this ship hit me like a fright train, I never thought I'be into Penguin/anyone, but here we are. So anything that is not fluffy, I like Oswald's mindgames and manipulating schemes, and yet he does care about Jim and finds him interesting. It's interesting that if Oswald gets to be some prominent figure in the criminal world it mirrors Jim's father and Falcone's friendship, so it's a nice parallel. A future fic with this idea, where Oswald gets to be in power and still helps Jim would be nice. Or anything with Oswald having - a not so subtle - crush on Jim and he keeps helping him - or stalking him - rather creepily.
- Jim/Edward: Something about Jim being the only one appreciating Ed's work, and sometimes even humoring him with his riddles. You can even go with a future fic where Ed turns into the Riddler.
HOMESTUCK
- Caliborn/Calliope: I'm totally in love with their twisted relationship, and I pretty much see cherub mentality as favorable to incest: they want to find someone who fills the void their "sibling" left. So bring your angsty, dark and twisted ideas! But I'd also welcome an AU where Caliborn and Calliope somehow work together and their session doesn't become a dead session. Or - in the vein of fucked up - Caliborn and Calliope (when she gets the ring) meet, or the version of Caliborn who died and the Calliope who died meet in the afterlife. Or any permutation of their selves meeting. Or just simply write about Caliborn's loneliness, how does he misses his sister in his own crazy way?
