Week #3
I almost forgot that one of my series came back! YAY! Also spoilers below the cut:
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit – 14x10 – Presumed Guilty
Obviously, this is still a perfect show with perfect episodes. In this ep we had:
- The importance of family, in spotlight with Fin.
- The prejudice dealing with priests and sexual abuse. I was quite surprised it turned out to be truth, but I knew that not the first priest was the perp. Let me mention that I loved how they used Nick's religiousness in this ep in contrast with Olivia's experience and resignation, that yes, if an older man is alone with a child that tends to be bad in their career.
- And then there was the prejudice because someone's a convicted felon. Again, I loved how everyone saw from a miles away that Fin's brother-in-law was innocent.
- Mention of incest rape.
- We had funny moments: the skeleton with the Santa hat on its head and cookie (?) in its mouth, Fin and Amanda's conversation, the arrest of a Santa Claus, and poor judge being interrupted on Christmas Eve.
- Olivia has a secret boyfriend, oh my, I imagined Stabler. :D I was such a shipper. Note: I just started shipping Nick/Liv before that mysterious man scene.
- Yeah, and the ending? Bittersweet and cruel. It was a Christmas ep, and bamm, right in the feels. Poor girl. :(
