So TVD is kind of doomed now because they wrote off the Originals, so here is my protest. Here I declare I don't see s4 as canon and I'm seriously contemplating to write some epic Originals/Elena fic. (But other fandoms *cough* Revolution *cough* also have the allure of writing dark OT3 fic and I haven't decided yet, which one will be. So, enough rambling, have some Elijah/Elena!
