WRITING YEAR IN REVIEW

Also, I know it's late but I haven't written anything yet, so I'm still in a New Year haze.

By the numbers: 10 fics, 38.380 words - I know it's not much, but it is for me.

My Best story: Blood and Starlight, this is the one I'm most proud of. First of all, it was my FIRST FEMSLASH STORY EVER, and it's something I can even re-read on occasion and be amazed that yeah, I've written something coherent, and it even has a plot!

My Most Popular Story: Pieces of Us, an Arrow OT3 fic. It's not a surprise because it's Arrow.

Story most under-appreciated by fandom in my opinion: Scarred Heart in Hands, oh come on, if I wrote an incest fic about codependent siblings in an other supernatural fandom, it would have been more popular. But of course, we can argue that it's femslash, and by some reason it's not that popular...

Story I wrote that I never thought I'd write: The Way We Fall, because it's Destiel, and I always struggle with the juggernaut ships. Also, I did something wrong because it's kinda the least read fic in that fandom, so wow.

Sexiest story: I don't write explicit sex, but one of my reviewers said Just Like You was hot. Well, it has a implied sex in it, but it's also dark and twisted.

Hardest story to write: Scattered Pieces of Who I Am, mostly because I had a deadline, and I had to write it with no sleep and three cups of coffee, plus it was the era when Sebastian Monroe wasn't anywhere near redemption, and it even has implied torture and Stockholm Syndrome and I've written it from Bass POV as something he sees right, though it was definitely fucked up. It was interesting, AND I really want to write more fucked up things. (It tells something about me, doesn't it?)

Easiest story to write: Just Like You and Love Stories for Dead People just flowed out in one day, I want to write like this ALWAYS.

Did you take on any writing risks this year? Signing up for fic exchanges because I'm ESL. Also writing at all, especially in English.

Biggest disappointment: I haven't written more, I had to drop out from a fic exchange because I got some serious medical condition. :( It affects my ability to write and it's awful. I don't have hope to get better even in this year, it's so long term. Also my failure at organizing a Hungarian fic exchange.

Biggest surprise: I got omg, so many gift fics. ♥ And on top of that they were from my two favorite fic authors, [personal profile] hithelleth and [archiveofourown.org profile] corycides. And I'm still amazed by the kindness of Revolution fandom.

Writing goals for 2014
- writing one long fic, REALLY.
- writing at least ten fics.
- working on my original fic.
- and finally writing an explicit sex scene as a writing exercise.
