I wanted to do an amazingly long rec list, but... but... I have only a few ships. So without further ado:

What can I say? It's perfect. :) It has both my ships and a hint of poly and while the first two chapter is lighthearted fun about how they got together, it delivers a gut punch at the end, which takes place after the finale. I just adored everything: it has my favorite tropes (training, I can never get enough of the training with awkward feelings and sexual tension trope) and it's very emotional. It has an open, ambiguous ending, but that's part of the reason why it's so good.

Summary: Grant Ward was not a part of the team, not really. But they didn’t know that and sometimes even he forgot.
It's another angst-y FitzWard fic, and this is why I love rare ship fests, because let's be honest, the AoS fandom is filled with fluffy AUs which are totally not my cup of tea. So it was a refreshingly canon-compliant take on unresolved FitzWard feelings. It's an interesting read because the dual POV's and the two different kind of tone represents so well Fitz and Ward's differences. Lovely and heartbreaking.
